Kamisha Quates was appointed vice president of reliability in 2025. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing safety, operations, construction, reliability improvement, engineering, asset planning, distribution dispatching, meter services, contract management and emergency restoration for the company’s transmission and distribution systems.

Bringing more than 23 years of utility experience to her current role, she previously served as director of regulatory and strategic initiatives in system planning for Entergy. Prior to joining Entergy, she worked for Southern Company, leading asset and environmental planning, renewable generation development, and asset implementation, among various other leadership roles in the organization.

Quates earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree of business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
